H2G travels to "The Last Frontier" (Alaska!)

We recently ventured out to Alaska.  No one in the office has ever been before this trip, and it was a truly unique experience.  Here are just a couple, of the many, places we enjoyed on our travels.

Rustic Goat in Anchorage, Alaska.

Surprisingly sophisticated and a really cool place that I would love to go back to. The owners and managers put their hearts into bringing warmth, with a lot of fun, to Anchorage.  The menu offered great comfort food with a modern twist.

Double Musky Inn was located in Girdwood, Anchorage, Alaska.

The locals didn't steer us wrong.  The Double Musky Inn had a line out the door at 5:00pm.  Once inside, we understood why.   The hearty portions of food were reason enough to check this place out.  The flair on the walls and ceilings added to a unique visual display, showcasing what generations of good fun can do for a place.  Not everything needs to be sleek and sophisticated to be cool.  The Double Musky Inn exudes tradition and history, giving the locals and tourists something they can all share.  Makes sense why the line was out the door by 5:00pm.

These are just two of the many unique places experienced on this trip to Alaska.  We look forward to future adventures back to the state nicknamed The Last Frontier!
